Julie Wright Proprietor / Consultant
An experienced manager and qualified nurse with 27 years in the care industry.
A Registered Mental Nurse (RMN) with a degree in Gerontological Nursing .BSc (Hons), currently working towards a Masters Degree in Dementia Studies (MSc).
As well as Strategic Management, Julie has experience of Operational Management, Project Management, Marketing, HR Management, Finance and Home Management.
Projects completed within the last 24 months include: Re- branding of care homes, introducing / writing policies and procedures, undertaking skills analysis of staff, auditing services provided, raising standards and lowering CSCI requirements, completion of AQAA forms, recruiting managers for care homes, training in Care Planning, Health and Safety, Adult Protection and Dementia Awareness, external investigations, expanding the business.
Julie Roper, Operations Manager (North)
An experienced manager with 28years in the care industry.
A Registered General Nurse, (RGN) with experience in Care / Nursing Home Management and the delivery of training.
Projects undertaken prior to joining the company include: Developing staff through supervision, appraisals and training, Nursing Home Management, Roving Manager, assisting Care Homes that have experienced difficulties due to poor management.
Since joining the group, Julie has taken the lead with turning around a Care Home that has experienced management related issues over a period of time. Her areas of expertise are in leadership, management of staff and systems and training of staff in all areas, including Adult Protection, Safe Administration of Medication, health and Safety, Dementia Awareness, Infection Control, Fire Training.
Hilary Shephard, Operations Manager (East)
An experienced Care Home Manager and CSCI Inspector with over 20 years in the Care Industry.
Hilary is a Registered General Nurse (RGN), currently working towards a Diploma in Dementia Studies. She has experience of Care Home Management, Private Hospital Nursing and Inspection / Regulation of Homes.
Prior to joining the team Hilary has been working as a CSCI Regulatory Inspector for three years. Her duties included Regulation and inspection of care homes and nursing homes for older people, older people with dementia, homes for younger adults with mental health related issues and care homes for adults with learning disabilities.
Hilary has an interest in improving services offered to older people generally, but especially those with dementia. She has experience of working closely with managers in an advisory capacity helping to raise awareness of issues and improve care delivery.
Christopher Bilton, Project Manager
With a background in military, Chris joins the team from the Royal Navy.
With seven years as a Leading Hand, he has experience of managing teams and projects, achieving a formal qualification and registration with to the Institute of Leadership and Management.
For 12 years, Chris had the position of Royal Navy Leading Medical Assistant, with duties that included improving efficiency within the department, planning meetings and functions and working with IT, within a NHS environment.
Chris is a qualified First Aid Instructor and has a teaching qualification, enabling him to deliver First Aid, Appointed Person, etc to care home staff.
He has the European Computer Driving Licence (ECDL) and has an interest in IT, training and Project Management.
