Wright Care at the Care Awards
On 29th November, 1,000 people from the care industry celebrated 10 years of the National Care Awards, which were presented by Tony Robinson.
Amongst those shortlisted for an award was our very own Julie Wright, who was nominated for Care Entrepreneur 2008.
Before the event in London, Julie was interviewed by a panel of judges where she had only 15 minutes to talk about her passion for elderly care, the challenges she has faced, and her quest for excellence in all Care Homes for older people.
Unfortunately it wasn’t to be and Wright Care was named as one of four “runners up” and was presented with a certificate as a “Finalist”.
Our Administrator Pat Haase won £400 worth of action adventure vouchers in a mammoth game of ‘Heads & Tails’ which was held during the Award Ceremony to raise funds for the Alzheimer’s Society.
We would like to congratulate all of the nominees and winners on their success, and thank all who supported Julie on the night.
