Great Northern Triumph!!
Julie Wright completed the 13.1 mile Great North Run course in 3hrs 25mins, coming in at around 1,400 position for her age group and gender (about 37,000 overall), and so far raising almost £1,000 via her ‘Just Giving’ website and other donations.
Having had many contracts in the North East, Julie says she already knew that the people in that region “are brilliant” but she was overwhelmed by the crowds adding, “They were so supportive and generous, the atmosphere was electric”.
Julie would like to thank all who supported her on the day and everyone who kindly donated.
